¶ Summary
An single parameter can be locked for either a config, or a single page. This can be useful in order to decide which users can read/edit basic settings, while only those with a higher access level can access more advanced / crucial settings.
¶ How to
- Navigate to the config you want to lock from unwanted access.
- (Optional) click on 'Edit' next to the page you want to lock.
- Do this if you want to lock the parameter only for a specific page instead of the whole config.
- Click on the 'lock'-icon in the upper left corner.
- On this new page, click on the 'plus'-icon in the upper left corner to create a new rule for this config.
- In the new popup-window, click on the input field, and select the parameter you want to lock from the newly created dropdown list.
- Enter minimum read- and write-permissions for this config.
- For example, adding a read-level of
200and a write-level of400means that users must have an access level of200for this parameter in order to read details about it, and a minimum of400in order to edit it.

- Click on the 'save'-icon in the upper left corner to confirm the changes.
